OOF is a publication exploring the long and interwoven history of art and football. Issue eight is a love letter to England: or perhaps, more accurately, a breakup letter. Either way, there's a lot of heartache as OOF explores the conflict of English identity in Conor Rogers' hyper-real betting slip paintings, Beatrice Lettice Boyle's close-up portraits of weeping England stars and George Shaw's stark, haunting images of abandoned goalposts. This issue also explores the artistic origins of three-sided football, Ahilan Ratnamohan's football choreography, Martin Parr’s football photographs and Robert Delaunay's dizzying depiction of the game.
